Pretoria city tour
Pretoria, one of South Africa’s three capital cities, serves as the country’s administrative capital and is located in the northern part of Gauteng Province. Known for its wide, tree-lined avenues and iconic Jacaranda trees that blanket the city in purple each spring, Pretoria is rich in history and culture. It is home to important national landmarks such as the Union Buildings, the official seat of the South African government and office of the president, as well as the Voortrekker Monument and Freedom Park. As a centre of education and research, Pretoria also hosts several major universities and scientific institutions. The city blends colonial-era architecture with a modern African identity, making it a significant political, academic, and cultural hub in South Africa.

Dullstroom
Dullstroom (also known as Emnothweni) is a charming high-altitude village in Mpumalanga, South Africa, renowned for its cool climate, scenic landscapes, and thriving trout-fishing culture. Founded in 1883 by Dutch settler Wolterus Dull, the town lies at approximately 2,100 m above sea level, making it the highest rail-linked settlement in the country, and is often affectionately referred to as “Scotland’s only outpost in Africa”
Pilgrim rest
Pilgrim’s Rest is a charming living museum of South Africa’s gold rush era, nestled on the Panorama Route in Mpumalanga. Originally founded in 1873 after gold was discovered, it quickly grew into a bustling diggings town, home to some 1,500 prospectors by 1874
Sabie
Sabie is a charming forestry and tourism town in Mpumalanga, South Africa, nestled along the banks of the Sabie River at about 1,066 m above sea level Its name comes from the Xitsonga word “Sava”, meaning “sand”, a nod to the area's sandy riverbeds.
Originally founded during the 1870s gold rush by explorers like H.T. Glynn and J.C. Ingle, Sabie later transitioned into one of the world’s largest man-made forestry regions, thanks to pioneering reforestation efforts in the 1870s to replenish trees used in gold mining. Today, forestry remains its main industry, while tourism thrives due to the lush plantations, stunning waterfalls, and its malaria-free high-altitude setting.

God’s Window
God’s Window is a celebrated vantage point on South Africa’s Panorama Route in Mpumalanga, perched on the edge of the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve. Standing at an elevation of around 1,700–1,800 m, this dramatic escarpment offers sweeping “God’s Eye” views over the lush Lowveld below—a scene so breathtaking that, on clear days, you can even glimpse the Kruger National Park and distant Mozambican mountains
Bourke’s luck Potholes

Bourke’s Luck Potholes are a stunning geological marvel situated along the Panorama Route in Mpumalanga, South Africa. These extraordinary cylindrical rock formations were carved over millennia by powerful whirlpools at the confluence of the Treur (“River of Sorrow”) and Blyde (“River of Joy”) Rivers, sculpting deep, cauldron-like potholes in the sandstone bedrock. Named after gold prospector Tom Bourke, who ironically found no gold here, the site marks the start of the majestic Blyde River Canyon
Three rondavels

The Three Rondavels are three distinctive, round mountain peaks overlooking the northern section of the Blyde River Canyon in Mpumalanga’s Panorama Route. Named for the traditional “rondavel” huts, their cone-shaped forms rise dramatically above the canyon, with a flat-topped peak nearby known as Mapjaneng (“the Chief”) accompanied by the three Rondavels—Magabolie, Mogoladikwe, and Maseroto—after the wives of the Bapedi Chief Maripi Mashile

Constitution Hill Museum or Apartheid Museum

Constitution Hill, located in the Braamfontein district of Johannesburg, is a profound heritage precinct that embodies South Africa’s transition from colonialism and apartheid to democracy. Once a formidable prison complex—including the Old Fort (built in the 1890s), Number Four “Native” Prison, and the Women's Gaol—the site held iconic figures like Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela, alongside thousands of ordinary and political prisoners

The Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg is the world’s foremost museum dedicated to chronicling South Africa’s system of institutionalised racial segregation from 1948 to 1994. Situated on the Gold Reef City complex, it opened in 2001 and features 22 thoughtfully curated exhibition areas that combine artifacts, photographs, film, and personal narratives to trace the rise and fall of apartheid and the nation’s journey to democracy

Soweto—an acronym for South Western Townships—sits southwest of Johannesburg and is South Africa’s largest Black urban area, home to about 1.3 million people. Once established in the early 20th century to segregate Black laborers from the city center, Soweto grew through apartheid-era forced relocations, becoming a powerful symbol of resistance.
